My life has been a journey de reconocimiento y de aceptación of the realities of being detribalized, aka losing native languages, spirituality, land & culture. After a life time of searching for the names of my indigenous abuelas, my forgotten abuelos, and the silenced ancestral wisdom I belong to; I keep surrendering into the Sacred Path day by day.

As a former academic, I desperately searched for methods to learn the stories of mi raíz from the Mazahuas, the Maya, the Naajeri also known as Cora, the Mexica, Aanagazi referred to as Berbers from North Africa, and Yoruba. After an Undergraduate degree in Latin American Studies and a Masters in Decolonial Arts Practice and Latinx Transformation — I realized that there was a limit to the who - what - when- how & why of learning within a mind-centric Institution.

My biggest desire was to - BE FREE - to be fully ME - including all my lineages - including the discarded, criminalized, or secret parts - the indigenous, black, queer, non binary, neurodiverse, artistic, Star, innovator - all me. I was determined to Stop being an outsider or living in the edge of my own reality, as a result of colonization and the systems of oppression. Instead I decided to go through the grieving process and learn to access my indigenous grandmothers and grandfathers, their Sacred Teachings and to truly embody the Sacred Way: honor orality, interdependence, be in constant communion and right relation with Creator, the Earth, stars, rivers, trees, mountains, songs, & Earth allies.

At the time I was dealing with very low self esteem, trauma, FOMO, impostor syndrome, anxiety, depression, people pleasing, and PTSD. Despite these monsters clinging to the past, I realized I had to take a leap and truly live+ learn + be who I authentically was: my true queer, indigenous, healed, happy, fulfilled and radiant SELF instead of being stuck and sick in colonial structures.

Basically, I had to leave the buildings, the books, and Colonial Mind. With the support of Spirit, mentors, echoes of my healed ancestors, and whispers of academic warriors like Gloria Anzaldua, Frida Kahlo, Bell Hooks, and Audrey Lorde – I courageously embarked on a therapeutic artistic practice intrinsically interwoven with a Spiritual Path that was congruent to who I AM truly - all parts and all bodies with Cacao Medicine, lens based arts, visual arts, performance, creative writing, Traditional Medicine, Prayer + Soul Language, Tao Medicine, Reiki, Kundalini Yoga, Thetahealing, Elemental Tantra, and Womb Medicine.

I am traditionally trained by Spiritual Teachers and Elders who passed on Wisdom and sophisticated technology of the Maya, Mexica, and Q’ero Nations. I work in harmony with Creator, the Earth, and Celestial Forces.
