Meet the Founder,

Vero Diaz

My life has been a journey de reconocimiento y de aceptación of the realities of being detribalized, aka losing native languages, spirituality, land & culture. After a life time of searching for the names of my indigenous abuelas, my forgotten abuelos, within the silenced ancestral wisdom I belong to. I keep surrendering into the Sacred Path day by day.

As a former academic, I desperately searched for methods to learn the stories of mi raíz from the Mazahuas, the Maya, the Naajeri also known as Cora, the Mexica, and the Aanagazi referred to as Berbers from North Africa. After an Undergraduate degree in Latin American Studies and a Masters in Decolonial Arts Practice and Latinx Transformation — I realized that there was a limit to the who - what - when- how & why to my search. I took the decision to move from a mind-centric Institution to learn / unlearn and embody the Wisdom through the Path that was calling me - embodied, Spirit and Earth-based, with Orality, and with Elders and devoted and dedicated Teachers of Tonalpohualli, of Womb Teachings, of Wellness Modalities that include the body, mind, energetics, emotions, and Spirit.

I am traditionally trained by Spiritual Teachers and Elders who passed on Wisdom and sophisticated technology of the Maya, Mexica, and Q’ero Nations. I work in harmony with Creator, the Earth, and Celestial Forces.

For a decade I have been supporting others who are interested in going back to their ancestral roots, healing deeply, and curious or committed to their Sacred Path with Sacred Private Containers, Healing Sessions, Art Healing, Gatherings, and Workshops. Reclaim Ancestral Ways combines oral teaching, community healing, and private expert support.
